The short commercial rule is:

- People are free. A one-person MOOT is free at home, at work, and across that
  person's personal devices.
- A company may install separate personal MOOTs for every employee for free,
  including compiling, signing, and deploying its own isolated single-user app
  builds.
- The official Apple App Store build is an optional convenience purchase,
  currently expected to be about $3 per major x.0.0 release. That price pays
  for maintained App Store distribution, not for the right to run a personal
  MOOT.
- Systems are licensed. Multiuser enterprise integrations, client-facing
  applications, and paid hosted services require a commercial agreement.
- Assurance is Enterprise. Paid support, hardened deployments, and
  FedRAMP/CMMC-oriented security work are Enterprise Edition offerings.
- A Go implementation is planned for Enterprise Edition, including
  financial-sector use.

commercial model in plain language.
